Ambition Events take competitors of all runningabilities and enables them to achieve significant lifeadventures, test their limits and ultimately understand that any obstacles are only there to be conquered. Taking this challenge even further, making it tougher,rougher and riskier, Ambition has created the ultimate global running series- RAW (RunAcross theWorld).

A RAW event is not a simple ultra marathon; the challenge is set in harsh or demanding locations all over the world, over routes so gruelling, so severe that every finisher can stand proud in the knowledge that it can be done. Whether you are enduring 50’ C in a blazing desert, negotiating treacherous terrain or being blasted by the freezing cold arctic winds, every stage, mile, even footstep will be a personal milestone.

Each RAW challenge is over 100 miles of non-stop, feet numbing, muscle aching endurance that will test the body to its ultimate limit, where the runners will confront their weaknesses and assess their strengths to reach an ultimate realization of what they can do and who they can be. Every race is different, everyone inimitable, each one presenting new challenges, requiring new found depths of self confidence and resolute persistence as competitor’s battle against whatever the elements decide to throw at them.

The Association of Running Clubs Membership has now exceeded 100 clubs and Organisations.

From 21st July, PRO-ACTIVE North London in partnership with Barnet & District AC will be organising 10-weeks of beginners jogging groups in two Barnet parks. You can come along at any time and join in with people of your own ability in a friendly and fun environment. The sessions are completely FREE to attend and you’ll be supported by experienced coaches as well as your fellow joggers.
