Dr Roger Henderson
Our resident doc advises on training and running injuries

Dr Henderson qualified as a doctor from St Bartholomew's Hospital, London in 1985 and as a general practitioner in 1990.
He decided to work part time in 1995 to concentrate on his writing career, and within 2 years was the medical columnist of the Sunday Times where he still has a weekly column as well as writing regular columns for many other national newspapers and magazines.

He has written a number of books including 'Stress Beaters; 100 Proven Ways to Manage Stress' , '100 ways to live to 100' and 'Over 50 Men's Health Check'.He is also a popular lecturer has held many seminars on health and fitness-related issues across the UK.His medical responsibilities include being a college doctor and senior partner in a busy general practice. He keeps fit by running whenever he finds the time!
Richard Spink MCSP
Richard advises on injuries and how to get back to running safely and quickly

Richard has been a practising physiotherapist for over ten years having graduated from Southampton University. He was reunited with his old friend, Peter in 2005 when he joined Grange Physiotherapy in Bristol - www.grangephysio.com.

On graduating he spent the first four years consolidating his knowledge in the National Health in a variety of hospitals around country. From then he enjoyed a long term spell in professional football where he cultured his love for sport injuries.

Richard moved to Private Practice four years ago heading up Physiotherapy provision in a busy City Centre practice before moving to the Grange in Bristol. He continues to enjoy regular work in the acute sports sector as he runs physiotherapy provision for University of the West of England mens football. For an interesting diversion he is as an injury correspondent for an international cycling magazine.

Two years ago Richard was selected to be physiotherapist on a British expedition to the Geomagnetic North Pole. The success of this has led to further expedition plans and the starting of carbonneutralexpeditions.com. Their maiden trip in 2007, a gruelling 4000 mile trip of sail and man power including a 1000 mile Greenland traverse on foot!
